A single glass goblet sitting atop a rickety worn table. Thin and unremarkable in design, its transparency is inherent and cannot be escaped. Its function doesn’t change, because it is what it is. Mild and alone despite the smudges on its exterior that seem to evidence otherwise. The setting is wrong, but still there it sits. Its potential appears far too reliant on its environment. Vibrations from exterior sources can be felt so deep within its core, and so many times it has been on the verge of breaking, yet there it sits, still surprisingly in one piece.
